SFI Announcement

On the 11th March 2025 the Rural Payments Agency announced that the Sustainable Farming Incentive scheme was closed for new applications with immediate effect. Those with existing SFI schemes will not be affected, and those with applications already submitted should still be offered an agreement, however going forward no new applications can be submitted.

A re-formed SFI scheme is set to be announced in the summer, but at this stage we are unsure of the exact timing or form of the scheme.
